Traveller from Bangor stayed in February,2010

The Carvey was not open for a 30% discount at 5pm as stated in the hotel room directoy.English Breakfasts from the Carvey were cold both mornings. In the main restruant on the ground floor meals do not come with vegetables so this is an extra. Ask for water and this is a £2.50 extra. The main bar upstairs started to close at 00.15 when still crowded, even though the Hotel directory says it stays open longer. The Hotel was better run when it was part of the Thistle Group. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location right beside Tower Bridge.

Top Tip:
Check out the restraunts around St.Katherines dock. These are much better value.
